Health Screening
26 April 2025 (10am to 2pm)
In collaboration with the Silver Generation Office - Agency for Integrated Care, BLC Community Services will be hosting a health screening session for the Pioneer and Merdeka generations, as well as eligible seniors aged 60 and above and CHAS cardholders (green) at heavily subsidised and affordable fees.
This screening can help seniors detect early signs of decline with their eyes, ears and oral health. By focusing on early detection, treatment and lifestyle adjustments, we hope to empower our seniors to take charge of their health and continue to enjoy a good quality of life.
Sign up for yourself or an elderly loved one today!
This initiative is part of the series of health screenings and health talks BLC Community Services has been running in support of Singapore’s push for improved community health and wellbeing. Our past events include health screening for migrant workers in the Joo Chiat community in collaboration with SG Accident Care, East Asia School of Theology and Charis Methodist Church, as well as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) health talks.

Community Events
Shared Celebrations, Stronger Connections

We believe in the power of celebrations to bring people together. Joyous occasions help us build stronger bonds within Joo Chiat, -- connecting long-time locals, new residents and visitors alike.
Festivals are more than just fun—they’re moments to share joy, embrace diversity, and build unity. Whether it’s a Lunar New Year meal, Children’s Day games, or Christmas carols, these shared experiences strengthen the ties that bind our community.
In a vibrant neighbourhood like Joo Chiat, every celebration is a chance to make new friends and honour old traditions.
Join us, and bring a friend too!
